Printing onto v-necks, scoops, and other ladies cut shirts is becoming more and more popular. The days of everyone getting a unisex fit shirt are long gone. Often times, women want slimmer-fitting shirts.
When printing v-necks, and other lower-cut ladies or junior shirts, it is important not to print the design too low on the garment. Instead of printing the design the normal three to four inches below the collar, you will want to print one to two inches below the collar. The neckline on a “V” falls much lower on the shirt than a typical crew collar t-shirt, and that is why we print the design higher. If you were to print the design three to four inches below the base of the V, then the design would be on the midriff rather than the chest.
