What Are Screen Print Transfers?

Screen print transfers have been around since the 1970s, shortly after direct screen printing apparel become popular. The process is similar to direct screen-printing. However, instead of printing directly onto a garment, special ink is printed onto a release paper, which can then be heat-applied onto a wide range of products. Over the years, heat press, transfer paper, and ink technology have improved greatly, ensuring high-quality and durable printed products. Screen print transfers offer great versatility, including the ability to print on-demand, gang artwork onto one sheet, and print on difficult locations with ease.

Print Fundraising has taken the time to perform extensive research in order to determine the best combination of ink and paper for our transfers. This ensures the highest possible quality screen print transfer while being durable, and offering a low margin of error for beginning printers.

However, if you do not use a quality heat press that delivers accurate time, temperature, and pressure, it will not matter how good our screen print transfers are.  That is why we suggest purchasing a quality heat press like the Hotronix Fusion that we sell.

When all of the variables are correct, printing transfers is a breeze, and a very profitable one at that.  If you have any further questions about screen print transfers, please check out our FAQ page, shoot us an email, or give us a call.
